Simgenet SMG411 is a compact IP/MPLS edge router platform running on the in-house developed SMGOS® software. Designed for telecom, ISP, energy and railway access layer applications with full MPLS-TE, SR-MPLS, BGP, OSPF, IS-IS, IEEE 1588 PTP v2 and BFD support.
Compact Edge IP/MPLS Platform
SMG411 is built on SMGOS®, developed in-house by Simgenet engineers. No third-party router software is used; protocol behavior, CLI structure and all service logic are entirely under Simgenet control.
Thanks to its Cisco IOS-like CLI structure, existing network teams can master the platform without additional training.
In-House Developed SMGOS IP/MPLS Software Infrastructure
SMGOS, running on SMG411, is an IP/MPLS routing operating system fully developed in-house by Simgenet.

Built-in SIP Server (VoIP)
Thanks to the Asterisk-based built-in SIP Server running on the SMGOS operating system, the router can also function as a basic IP telephone exchange. In locations without a telephone exchange, SIP numbers obtained from the ISP can be directly assigned to the router for VoIP communication.
