Simgenet SMG1000 is an industrial IP/MPLS router family running on in-house developed SMGOS operating system with TS/EN 61000-4 Level 3 EMC certification. Model A and Model B variants offer 100G–200G uplink capacity. Designed for energy, railway, telecommunications and ISP backbone networks.

High-Capacity Industrial IP/MPLS Platform

Simgenet SMG1000 is an industrial-class IP/MPLS router family running on SMGOS (Simgenet in-house developed network operating system) with Cisco IOS-like CLI-based management interface. It shares the same software architecture and protocol set with all Simgenet MPLS router platforms; model selection depends entirely on hardware capacity, port density and environmental conditions.

The SMG1000 is designed in a 4U rackmount 19" form factor. With dual redundant power supplies (2× 220 VAC), extended operating temperature range from –20°C to +60°C, and TS/EN 61000-4 Level 3 (heavy industrial) EMC certification, it can be safely deployed in transformer stations, power plants, railway stations, field cabinets and all industrial facilities outside controlled environments.


In-House Developed SMGOS IP/MPLS Software Infrastructure

SMGOS, running on the SMG1000, is an IP/MPLS routing operating system entirely developed in-house by Simgenet.

Both variants run the same SMGOS software; there are no differences in services, protocols or CLI capabilities.

Ethernet cards operate on Intel and NVIDIA (Mellanox) chipsets; they provide low latency and high throughput with TCP/IP offloading, RDMA (RoCE), SR-IOV and DPDK support.

With fiber SFP modules, operation is possible at distances of 10–120 km; with optical boosters (EDFA), reach can be extended up to 400 km.
