Simgenet SVP Validation Platform
Simgenet SVP Validation Platform
Simgenet SVP (Simgenet Validation Platform) is an independent network test and validation platform that verifies your entire network infrastructure - routers, switches, time servers and power-utility networks - against international standards and produces evidence-based, sealed reports. It combines RFC 2544, ITU-T Y.1564, Y.1731, TWAMP/STAMP, PTP/NTP/SyncE and IEC 61850 testing in a single instrument.
Simgenet SVP — Simgenet Validation Platform
Simgenet SVP (Simgenet Validation Platform) is an independent test and validation instrument that proves your network really performs at the committed quality. For commissioning, acceptance testing, SLA activation and periodic audit, it tests any manufacturer's device with two test ports and international standard methodologies. Every test is stored in the database with its parameters and raw data; a customer-deliverable, lockable PDF report is produced automatically.
Capabilities that require separate instruments or separate licenses on commercial testers are combined in a single Simgenet SVP box: Ethernet traffic testing from 1G to 100G, nanosecond-class PTP/NTP time synchronization analysis, Y.1731 service OAM measurements, TWAMP/STAMP delay testing and IEC 61850 power-automation scenarios.
All Network Tests on a Single Platform
RFC 2544 throughput/latency/frame-loss/back-to-back, ITU-T Y.1564 service activation testing (CIR/EIR/policing, multi-service), RFC 6349 TCP, RFC 2889 switch and RFC 3918 multicast tests are executed with standard methodology. The in-house EMIX L2 traffic engine measures loss, delay, jitter, reordering and duplicate frames in a single tool with its own sequence numbering and timestamping.
Nanosecond-Class Time Synchronization Testing
IEEE 1588 PTP measurements are hardware-timestamped; results are reported with automatic PASS/FAIL verdicts against ITU-T G.8273.2, G.8272 PRTC, G.8271.1 and IEC 61850-9-3 / IEEE C37.238 masks. Grandmaster announce analysis, PTP under load, noise tolerance, holdover and SyncE (G.8262/G.8264) validation, together with NTP server testing, form a complete timing validation suite.
Service OAM and SLA Measurements
ITU-T Y.1731 ETH-CC/DM/LM/SLM measurements, RFC 5357 TWAMP (stateful) and RFC 8762 STAMP tests measure end-to-end delay, jitter and loss with direction separation. MEF 66 latency histograms and Y.1563 availability analysis complete the SLA reports.
IEC 61850 Power Utility Automation
GOOSE/SV generation, analysis and capture; automatic scenarios from SCL project files; GOOSE-class traffic criteria under background load; HSR/PRP RedBox seamless redundancy measurement (IEC 62439-3). End-to-end validation for substation commissioning.
Evidence-Based Sealed Reporting
Every test is recorded with report number, customer/project/device and operator identity. Reports are exported as PDF/CSV/HTML and made immutable with a compliance stamp and report lock. The report explicitly states what the test does and does not prove - insufficient duration triggers an explicit warning.
Continuous Monitoring and NMS Integration
Permanently attached to the installation, it runs periodic conformance rounds, tracks time-source announce changes, and notifies the NOC the moment a fault occurs via SNMP traps and NMS (Zabbix) integration. On FAIL, the device-internal event window is fetched automatically and attached to the report.
Vendor-Independent DUT Automation
Ready adapters for Cisco, VyOS, SMGOS and Linux-based devices provide automatic pre-test configuration, post-test verification and cleanup. Auto-test sessions run all test combinations per device unattended.
