3onedata MES5400

Overview

MES5400 series is a 30-port modular Layer 3 managed industrial Ethernet switch manufactured by 3onedata. With 19" 1U rack mounting design and 4 replaceable daughter board slots, it offers flexible port configuration. Designed to comply with IEC 61850-3 and IEEE 1613 transformer substation standards and optimized for digital transformer substations, smart grids, energy storage, photovoltaic and wind energy facilities, and industrial SCADA systems.

Modular Architecture

Four daughter board slots enable site-specific port configuration. Gigabit copper (RJ45), Gigabit SFP, and 10 Gigabit SFP+ ports can be combined in different configurations. This modular design allows flexible device configuration according to specific network topology requirements.

Advanced Network Protocols

Layer 3 routing support: Static Routing, RIP/RIPng, OSPF/OSPFv3, ISIS, VRRP, BGP, NAT, PIM-SM/DM. Layer 2 features: STP/RSTP/MSTP, ERPS (ITU-T G.8032), MRP (<200ms), HSR/PRP, patented Ring technology. IEEE 1588v2 PTP precision time synchronization provides critical timing alignment for power infrastructure communication.

Management and Security

SNMP v1/v2c/v3 centralized management, RMON, LLDP, QoS, port statistics, DHCP Server/Relay, ACL, 802.1X authentication, RADIUS, TACACS+, and secure SSH/HTTPS access. Access methods include CLI, WEB, Telnet, SNMP, and SSH. Modbus TCP industrial SCADA integration is available. IEC 61850 MMS protocol is supported.

Power and Durability

DC model: 2×48VDC (18-72VDC) dual power supply redundancy. AC model: 2×220VAC (110-240VAC/DC) dual power supply redundancy. Hot-swap power supply support. Fanless design, -40°C~+85°C wide operating temperature range, IP30 protection class, EMC Level 4 electromagnetic compatibility.
