Overview
MES5300-28GS is a 28-port full Gigabit Layer 2 managed industrial Ethernet switch. By providing 28 Gigabit SFP slots, it is ideal for fully fiber-based network architectures. Designed with standard 19" 1U rack mounting for transformer substations in heavy electromagnetic interference environments.
Network Management and Protocols
Supports ARP, IPv4, Ring, MRP (<200ms reconfiguration), STP/RSTP/MSTP, ERPS (ITU-T G.8032), 802.1Q VLAN, QoS, IGMP Snooping, LLDP, LACP port trunking, port mirroring, and Modbus TCP (power SCADA integration) protocols. Access methods include CLI, WEB, Telnet, SNMP v1/v2c/v3, and SSH.
Security and Management
Features include ACL, 802.1X authentication, RADIUS, TACACS+, MAC-based authentication, storm control, user privilege classification, and RMON monitoring. Port statistics, file management, online updates, and log management (Console/RAM/Flash logging) are supported.
