
H9MO-LMXE.VX SDH & MPLS & PCM Hybrid Multiplexer is a carrier-class, cost-effective, compact, high-capacity SDH & IP integrated transmission platform, designed for metro and access networks to transport both traditional TDM and increasing Ethernet traffic. It supports SDH cross-connection matrix and packet switching core; the equipment complies with Carrier Ethernet standards defined by MEF and acts as a gateway node between core SDH/IP networks and remote CPE boxes, or as a multi-service SDH ADM node in ring or mesh networks.

It supports protection mechanisms including 1+1 MSP and SNCP, with management channels via DCC, E1, or VC12. SDH uplink speeds are supported up to STM-64; internal clock, external clock, line clock, and clock holdover are provided. Ethernet services with GFP encapsulation, VC12 virtual concatenation and LCAS, P-VLAN, 802.1Q VLAN and Q-in-Q are supported. For cross connection capability it offers large capacity: 384×384 VC-4 full cross-connection, or 136×136 VC-4 of VC-12 or VC-3 level full cross-connection.
On packet-switching side it supports up to 100 Gbps switching capacity, up to 10GE interfaces, and conforms to MPLS-TP standard. Protocols such as ITU-T ELPS/G.8031 and ERPS/G.8032 are also supported. Carrier Ethernet services E-Line, E-Tree, and E-LAN are included. Features like LACP, 802.1Q, Q-in-Q, xSTP, etc. are supported. OAM is carrier-class (IEEE 802.3ah, 802.1ag, ITU-T Y.1731). Sync-E and IEEE 1588 v2 are supported for synchronization.
Supported interfaces include STM-1/4/16/64; GE/10GE; GE/FE (optical & electrical); E1, V.35, E3, DS3; FXO/FXS/hotline; RS232/RS422/RS485; differential protection / C37.94; distance protection; 2-wire/4-wire E&M etc.
The hardware architecture comprises SDH cross-connection cards, IP packet switching cards, and tributary service cards. It has 22 slots: 2 for hot-standby power cards; 2 for packet switching & management; 2 for TDM cross-connection; 10 for TDM tributary; and 6 packet service slots. SDH/PCM service cards are compatible with H5600 series.
Physical dimensions are 4U size with measurements of 176 × 255 × 440 mm. It has dual power supply (AC and DC), power consumption ≤ 160 W. Operates in temperatures between -10 °C to +50 °C, with relative humidity ≤ 90% non-condensing.
