LR Link - HS818

The HS818 Network Platform is a high-performance network appliance developed by Shenzhen Lianrui Electronics (LR-Link) in a 2U rack chassis. Based on the Intel C621 platform, it supports 1st and 2nd generation Intel® Xeon®-SP (Scalable) processors, offering robust hardware capabilities for enterprise and industrial-grade network requirements.

On the hardware side, HS818 supports up to 640 GB of DDR4 ECC memory and features a modular design with 8 PCIe x8 expansion slots, allowing for extensive customization and scalability.

For storage and management, the platform offers six onboard SATA ports—one of which is a tool-free removable SSD—and includes BMC with IPMI 2.0 for out-of-band management, along with optional TPM 1.2/2.0 modules for enhanced security.

Physically, the appliance measures 432 mm × 600 mm × 88 mm, weighs approximately 20 kg, and comes equipped with a 550 W (1+1) redundant power supply. It’s rated for operation at 0–50 °C, storage at –20–60 °C, and a humidity range of 5–95% (non-condensing).

With its powerful dual Xeon-SP support, high memory capacity, modular expansion slots, and advanced management features, the HS818 is an ideal hardware foundation for applications such as firewalls, IDS/IPS, VPN, UTM, or SD-WAN. It supports both open-source platforms (pfSense, OPNsense) and commercial security software (Sophos, FortiGate VM, Check Point), enabling flexible and scalable enterprise network security infrastructure.
