LR Link - HS402

The HS402 Network Platform is a hardware-based network appliance developed by Shenzhen Lianrui Electronics (LR-Link). It integrates an Intel Atom C3000 series C3758 processor, delivering reliable performance and energy-efficient computing. Its 1U design makes it suitable for data centers and enterprise networks, as well as critical environments like industrial automation, communications, transportation, education, and healthcare.

On the hardware front, HS402 includes four DDR4 2400 MHz DIMM slots, supporting up to 128 GB of ECC memory. Network connectivity includes 7× 1G RJ45 and 4× 1G SFP ports, with bypass support for LAN port groups LAN1&2, LAN3&4, and LAN5&6—ensuring uninterrupted operation.

For expansion, the platform offers 2× PCIe x8 slots, enabling upgrades with 10G or 40G optical/based modules to scale as needed. Storage is likewise flexible, with 2× SATA 2.0 interfaces and one HDD bay available.

Physically, HS402 measures 430 mm × 480 mm × 44.5 mm and weighs approximately 5 kg. It features a 1U standard power supply and supports operation in temperatures from 0 °C to 50 °C, with storage tolerance from -20 °C to 60 °C and humidity range of 5–95% non-condensing. The front panel includes power, system, and bypass LEDs, along with COM and USB I/O ports.

As a flexible hardware foundation, HS402 is designed to support a wide range of network security applications. It is suitable for deploying firewalls, IDS/IPS, VPN, UTM, or SD-WAN. Users may deploy open-source solutions (e.g., pfSense, OPNsense) or commercial platforms (e.g., Sophos, FortiGate VM, Check Point) on this device, enabling scalable and reliable network security infrastructure.
